One
day in mid-2008, Mark Concrete got a call from someone on the
production staff of the wildly popular Discovery Channel show,
Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. They said they wanted information
about our operation as we had been suggested as a genuine Dirty
Job. We gave them the information they requested and then it
sort of faded away. We thought we weren't dirty enough.
(Anyone
who has been to our shop would disagree!)
Then, in April of 2009, we got a call saying our number was
up and they were ready to schedule a shoot at Mark Concrete!
Lo and behold, on May 21, 2009 starting at 6 am, crews, cameras
and Mike Rowe himself rolled in for a full day of fun and filming.
The show aired in February of 2010.
